Mindfulness is more relevant than ever. Avoiding distractions has become almost impossible with social media, Netflix, and TV. Mindfulness is the simple practice of connecting with the present moment and saying 'F*ck You' to instant gratification. It's about becoming aware of your thoughts and emotions, managing stress, and seeing the world with greater clarity. You don't need to sit in a cave and meditate to be mindful.
Most generic training programs will have you lifting purely from the perspective of putting on muscle. While that's something I can get behind, it neglects training your body in a way that helps with daily life. Functional movement is about training your body to handle real-life activities with ease. It’s a blend of mobility, stability, and strength exercises.
I will not use the word 'diet' within my nutrition plan. Most diets will have you on an unrealistic restriction that will make you hate nutrition. My goal is to help you love the foods you eat. I will walk you through creating a realistic nutrition guide that you can stick to for life. The goal is to select foods that are nutritious but also taste delicious AND don't take 12 hours to cook and clean.
